We received some news from Portsmouth… Fedulab, a friend of us, sent us some photos of one of his latest creations…a lovely handbag decorated with our buttons.

Eccomi tornata con un progetto di cucito creativo che valorizza molto bene i bottoni Buttonmad ! Su suggerimento della cara Martha che il destino ha voluto farmi incontrare sotto il suo berceau di meraviglie durante un mercatino lo scorso Natale, vi presento la mia casetta fermaporta !
Here I am back with a project that emphasizes Buttonmad buttons’ role for creative sewing purposes very well! Thanks to Martha’s suggestion, a friend of mine I had the opportunity to met at a flea market last Christmas, I introduce you my cottage doorstop!
Su un telo di juta ho composto piano piano la mia storia…..quella di un gattino pescatore che abita con un cavallino in una casetta di campagna.
On a sheet of burlap I slowly made my story ….. a cat greedy for fishes who lives with a horse in a country cottage.
Ho deciso di condividere il mio lavoro con voi e inserire qui il progetto in formato pdf così che se lo desiderate potrete farne uno anche voi!

Barbara è un tesoro piena di amore ed entusiasmo per l’ “arte del creare” e con queste sue nuove “chicche”: bomboniere, portachiavi e mollettine trasmette con grande allegria tutto l’amore per questa sua passione!
Barbara is a great person full of love and enthusiasm for the ‘”art of creating” and with these her new “pearls”: gifts, keychains and small springs instills with great joy all the love for her passion.
Per queste due creazioni ha utilizzato un uccellino, dei cagnolini, una tartaruga, un cavallo e una farfalla,che potete trovare nel nostro negozio online.

Genny della provincia di Padova (amepiacecos) fà volontariato ed è membro dell’Associazione Amici per l’Africa.
Insieme ad altre amiche creative Graziella Pattaro (in arte Genny) offre le proprie creazioni ad alcune feste del suo paese fra cui quella di primavera devolvendo gli interi proventi all’associazione.
Grazie anche a questo contributo sono state realizzate in diverse parti dell’Africa opere davvero importanti per la popolazione locale come scuole, falegnamerie, pozzi e ospedali.
Together with other creative friends Graziella Pattaro (whose nikname is Genny ) offers her creations during the fairs in her country and the whole profit goes to the association !
Thanks also to this effort a lot of very important works for the local population have been realized in Africa : schools, lathes,wells and hospitals.

Hello, I found your buttons through Alessia’s Bead and Tricks blog and I immediately liked them so much. From childhood I have always enjoyed creating something with my hands, drawing, embroidery, etc.
I miei hobby preferiti sono il patchwork, lo stamping e non ultimo creare gioielli. I vostri bottoni sono stupendi e hanno sicuramente svariati usi. Insomma la difficoltà è stato scegliere, ma poi sono riuscita ed ho ordinato quattro tipi diversi da….(omissis), negozio dove mi fornisco a volte anche del materiale per ricamare.
My favorite hobbies are patchwork, stamping and not least to create jewelry. Your buttons are beautiful and definitely have a variety of uses. In short, initial difficulty was to choose, but then I could order four different types from …. shop (omitted), where I buy sometimes material for embroidery.

The first use was for a necklace. I dedicate to this hobby most of the time. Yesterday I published it on my blog, (http://piccoleideedicristina.myblog.it). Following your blog I saw the beautiful necklace made by Grazia Magike Mani, and so following her and your suggestion, I am sending you some pictures of my creation. Thanks and ciao Cristina ! ”
La collana è stata realizzata completamente a mano con filo di rame antichizzato. Cristina ha creato dei cerchi intorno ai bottoni L274 ed ha unito il tutto con del filo di rame più sottile terminando proprio sul bottone con una piccola rosellina. La catena è formata da piccole pietre dure e da dei mezzi cristalli tutti sui toni del grigio.
The necklace was made entirely by hand with antique copper wire. Cristina has created some circles around the buttons (L274) and combined it with a thinner copper wire finishing right on the button with a little rose on it. The chain is formed of small stones and crystals in shades of gray.
E di queste grucce realizzate con gli stessi bottoni (L276 ) cosa ne dite? A me piacciono da impazzire ! Questa è la versatilità dei bottoni Buttonmad !

Oggi ci è venuta a trovare una signorina molto buffa ma raffinata ! E’ vestita tutta di rosso, ha in testa un cappello nero con fiocchetto rosso e porta al braccio una bella borsetta decorata con rose rosse!
Today a very funny but elegant lady came to see us! She is all dressed in red, wearing a black hat with red bow and she brings a beautiful handbag decorated with some red roses.
La signorina si è andata a “posare” come una farfalla su una borsettina di feltro semplice semplice, composta da due strisce cucite fra loro e impunturate.
The lady has landed like a butterfly on a very simple little bag of felt composed of two stripes sewn together and quilted.
I bottoni utilizzati appartengono alla cartina L 216 che potete trovare qui sul nostro catalogo online. Se anche a voi piace inventare dei “personaggi” di stoffa decorateli utilizzando gli “accessori” Buttonmad per il cucito creativo.
